Principal Act
These regulations amend the Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991 to update definitions, incorporate a new code of practice, and introduce new requirements for the supervision of electrical work.
Electrical workers and their employers are affected by the new supervision requirements, including defined levels of supervision and restrictions on apprentice work on energised installations. The regulations also incorporate an updated code of practice.
