These regulations amend the Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991 to modify procedures for notifiable electrical work on large construction projects, particularly regarding notices of completion and record-keeping.

Electrical contractors undertaking large construction projects (expected to last 12+ months with significant electrical demand) are affected. They can use a modified procedure for submitting notices of completion, reducing administrative burden if certain conditions are met, but must maintain detailed records.
