Principal Act
These regulations amend the Emergency Management Regulations 2006 to prescribe offences under section 86(1) of the Emergency Management Act 2005 for which infringement notices may be issued. It also specifies modified penalties and designates approved and authorised officers for issuing these notices.
Individuals and body corporates who fail to comply with directions under the Emergency Management Act 2005 may be issued with infringement notices and subject to modified penalties. State Emergency Coordinator will need to appoint approved and authorised officers.
