Energy Operators (Powers) Act 1979

These by-laws amend the Energy Operators (Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation) (Charges) By-laws 2006 by replacing Schedules 1 and 2, which relate to supply charges for electricity.

Consumers of electricity supplied by the Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation will be affected by changes to tariff rates, including fixed charges and consumption charges for various tariffs (Li, L3, Ri, R3, A1, B1, C1) and standby charges. The changes impact the cost of electricity for residential, commercial, and community service consumers.
