Energy Operators (Powers) Act 1979

These by-laws amend the Energy Operators (Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation) (Charges) By-laws 2006 by replacing Schedules 1 and 2, updating various electricity supply charges and tariffs.

Consumers of electricity supplied by the Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation will be affected by changes to fixed charges, consumption rates, and standby charges for various tariffs. Businesses and residential customers will see adjustments to their electricity bills based on usage and tariff type.
