Energy Operators (Powers) Act 1979

Amends the Energy Operators (Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation) (Charges) By-laws 2006 by replacing Schedules 1 and 2, updating electricity supply charges and conditions for various tariffs.

Consumers of electricity supplied by the Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation will be affected by changes to fixed charges, consumption rates, and conditions for different tariffs (Li, L3, RI, R3, A1, B1, C1), including standby charges. This may impact the cost of electricity for residential, commercial, and community service consumers.
