Energy Operators (Powers) Act 1979

These By-laws amend the Energy Operators (Regional Power Corporation) (Charges) By-laws 2006. They update electricity supply charges and introduce a definition for 'permitted surcharge' and 'RBA Standard No. 3 012016' relating to payment surcharges.

Consumers of electricity supplied by the Regional Power Corporation will be affected by changes to tariffs. Small voluntary and charitable organisations may be affected by the conditions for Tariff C2. Businesses accepting card payments may be impacted by the definition of 'permitted surcharge'.
