These regulations prescribe the Fitness Industry Code of Practice 2017 as an interim code under the Fair Trading Act 2010, setting standards for fitness service providers. The regulations expired on 31 December 2017.

Fitness service providers in Western Australia were required to comply with the Fitness Industry Code of Practice 2017. Clients of fitness services were afforded certain protections and rights under the code. The regulations are no longer in force.
