These regulations prescribe the Fitness Industry Interim Code of Practice 2020 under the Fair Trading Act 2010. The code sets standards for fitness service providers and aims to protect consumers. The regulations and code expired on 30 June 2020.
Fitness service providers were required to comply with the Fitness Industry Interim Code of Practice 2020. Consumers of fitness services benefited from the protections and standards outlined in the code. The regulations and code are no longer in effect.
