These regulations prescribe the Fitness Industry Interim Code of Practice 2021 under the Fair Trading Act 2010. The code aims to maintain service standards, consumer confidence, and support the fitness industry. The regulations expired on 30 June 2021.

Fitness service providers in Western Australia were required to comply with the Fitness Industry Interim Code of Practice 2021. Clients of fitness services were afforded certain protections under the code.
