Fire and Emergency Services Act 1998

These regulations amend the Fire and Emergency Services Regulations 1998 to insert new headings for Parts 1-4 and insert a new Part 5 regarding insurance limits for volunteers and apportionment of amounts payable.

Volunteer firefighters and emergency services personnel are affected by the new insurance limits for personal property loss or damage. The regulations also outline the process for apportioning compensation amounts among persons dependent on an injured volunteer.
