📜 Gas Services Information Rules Amending Rules 2018
These rules amend the Gas Services Information Rules to remove references to the IMO (Independent Market Operator) and replace them with references to AEMO (Australian Energy Market Operator), the Rule Change Panel, or the ERA (Economic Regulation Authority) where applicable. They also adjust AEMO's revenue and expenditure assessment processes.
AEMO's responsibilities are clarified, and Registered Shippers and Registered Production Facility Operators will interact with AEMO for GSI fees. The ERA's role in adjusting Allowable Revenue and Forecast Capital Expenditure for AEMO is also modified. The Rule Change Panel will have costs recovered on its behalf by the ERA.
