These regulations amend the Health (Cervical Screening Register) Regulations 1991 and the Health (Western Australian Cancer Register) Regulations 2011 to facilitate the inclusion of information in the National Cancer Screening Register and update terminology.

Healthcare providers and the Department of Health will be affected by changes to data handling and reporting requirements related to cervical screening. The public benefits from a more integrated national cancer screening program.
