This order amends the Health Services (Fees and Charges) Order 2016. It updates certain fees for health services and introduces a charge for the provision of medicines to ineligible patients, with the amount determined by the Department CEO.
Ineligible patients (in-patients, out-patients, day patients, same-day patients) will now be charged for medicines provided in hospitals. Fees for specific health services are also slightly increased. Hospitals and the Department CEO are affected by the new medicine charge.
