This order amends the Health Services (Fees and Charges) Order 2016. It redefines charges for specialised orthoses, removing a previous schedule and giving the Department CEO authority to determine costs, ensuring public availability of these determinations.
Hospitals and patients requiring specialised orthoses are affected. Hospitals will need to determine and publish the cost of these orthoses based on their own costs. Patients will be charged according to these published costs.
