📜 Historical Homosexual Convictions Expungement Regulations 2020

These regulations prescribe an offence against section 54 of the Police Act 1892 (as in force before 31 May 2005) as a 'historical homosexual offence' for the purposes of the Historical Homosexual Convictions Expungement Act 2018. They also specify the commencement dates for different sections of the regulations.
Individuals with convictions under section 54 of the Police Act 1892 (as it existed before 31 May 2005) may now be eligible to have those convictions expunged under the Historical Homosexual Convictions Expungement Act 2018.
