These regulations amend the Land Administration Regulations 1998. They classify permits under Part 7 Division 5 of the Land Administration Act 1997 as 'moderate' for fee purposes, clarify fee assessment for other documents, and update the fee schedule for preparing leases and other documents.
Land developers and individuals requiring permits or other documents under the Land Administration Act 1997 will be affected by the revised fee structure. The Department of Lands will need to assess document complexity to determine applicable fees.
