These regulations amend the Land Administration Regulations 1998 and the Land Information Authority Regulations 2007 to prescribe the Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020 (GDA2020) for the purposes of the Land Administration Act 1997 and the Land Information Authority Act 2006.

This change affects surveyors, land developers, and anyone involved in mapping and spatial data management in Western Australia. They will need to use GDA2020 as the standard reference frame for positioning.
