This determination, made under the Legal Profession Act 2008, sets out the maximum hourly and daily rates, inclusive of GST, and scale of costs for legal services provided in official prosecutions where costs are awarded to a successful accused. It also clarifies that witness fees are a disbursement at the court's discretion, but loss of earnings is not recoverable.
