These regulations amend the Library Board (State Library) Regulations 1956 to update the rules regarding exclusion of individuals from the State Library. It grants the librarian the power to exclude individuals for disorderly conduct, intoxication, accessing offensive content, misuse of the library, or breaches of regulations.
Individuals who use the State Library are affected. The librarian now has clearer guidelines and authority to exclude individuals who violate library rules, and excluded individuals have the right to appeal to the Board.
