These regulations amend the Liquor Control Regulations 1989 to update references to passenger transport vehicle authorisations, replacing references to the Transport Co-ordination Act 1966 with the Transport (Road Passenger Services) Act 2018.
Liquor licensees and operators of on-demand charter vehicles are affected. The amendment ensures that the exemption from the Liquor Control Act for consumption of liquor in certain vehicles aligns with the new transport legislation.
