Principal Act
These regulations amend the Liquor Control Regulations 1989 to exempt liquor competitions from certain provisions of the Liquor Control Act 1988, and extend the timeframes for certain applications and notifications.
Liquor producers, judges, and stewards involved in liquor competitions are affected, as the sale, supply, and consumption of liquor during these events are now exempt from certain restrictions. Licensees benefit from extended timeframes for applications.
