These regulations amend the Liquor Control Regulations 1989 to prescribe limits on the quantity of liquor that can be carried in certain areas of WA, define classes of persons and vehicles exempt from these limits, and prescribe circumstances where the limits do not apply.
Businesses and individuals in Broome, Derby, Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, Kununurra, and Wyndham, and surrounding areas are affected by restrictions on the amount of alcohol they can transport. Certain classes of people (tourists, farmers, mine workers) and vehicles are exempt.
