Liquor Control Act 1988

These regulations declare the Wakathuni Aboriginal Community a restricted area regarding liquor, prohibiting the bringing in or possession of liquor, with penalties for violations. They are set to expire on June 30, 2026.

Individuals other than those in transiting vehicles are prohibited from bringing liquor into or possessing it within the Wakathuni Aboriginal Community. Licensees, managers, and directors face higher penalties. Police are authorized to seize and dispose of liquor containers.
