This order changes the ward boundaries for the Central, South, and West Wards within the Shire of Mundaring, effective from the next ordinary election day. It also modifies the Local Government Act 1995 to facilitate the changes.
Residents and candidates in the Shire of Mundaring are affected as the ward boundaries they fall within will change. The Shire of Mundaring will need to update its electoral rolls and procedures to reflect the new boundaries for the next election.
