These regulations amend the Magistrates Court (Fees) Regulations 2005. They define 'legal practitioner', clarify fee exemptions for transcripts related to restraining orders, and include applications under the Mandatory Testing (Infectious Diseases) Act 2014.

Legal practitioners, respondents to restraining orders, and applicants under the Mandatory Testing (Infectious Diseases) Act 2014 are affected. Some transcript fees are waived for respondents to restraining orders. Court fees are updated.
