Principal Act
These regulations amend the Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016 to update references to the Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Medicines and Poisons (SUSMP) and clarify the medicines that endorsed midwives can prescribe and supply.
Endorsed midwives are affected by changes to the medicines they are authorized to prescribe and supply. This clarifies their scope of practice under the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014.
