These regulations temporarily waived and refunded certain fees related to dangerous goods and mine safety in Western Australia as a COVID-19 response measure. The waivers were in effect from the commencement date of the regulations until 31 March 2021.
Mining and resources companies and individuals who paid fees related to dangerous goods safety and mine safety may have been eligible for refunds. The regulations aimed to provide financial relief during the COVID-19 pandemic.
