These regulations amend the Motor Vehicle (Catastrophic Injuries) Regulations 2016 to incorporate definitions from the Community Titles Act 2018 relating to community titles schemes and scheme by-laws, specifically concerning modifications to residences.
Individuals with catastrophic injuries whose residences are part of a community titles scheme are affected. Modifications to their residences may not be covered if they haven't been permitted by the scheme by-laws.
