These regulations amend the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1996 to provide refunds for certain fees paid between April 1, 2020, and the commencement date of regulation 6, where those fees were higher than the reduced fees in place during a designated period related to the COVID-19 pandemic. It also replaces several schedules related to fees.
Businesses and individuals who paid certain occupational safety and health fees between April 1, 2020, and the commencement date of regulation 6 may be eligible for a refund. The regulations also establish a 'designated period' until March 31, 2021, with reduced fees for specific services.
