These regulations amend the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1996. They remove the definition of 'designated period', delete regulation 2.14A, and replace Schedules 6.1 to 6.2A and Schedule 6.4, updating fees for various occupational safety and health activities.
Businesses and individuals involved in occupational safety and health activities, such as demolition work, asbestos handling, plant design, and high-risk work licensing, will be affected by the changes to fees. These changes will impact the cost of compliance.
