📜 Pearling (General) Amendment Regulations 2020

Principal Act
These regulations amend the Pearling (General) Regulations 1991. They remove the requirement for the CEO to waive permit fees and grant the CEO the power to refund, reduce, or waive fees or charges.
Pearling permit holders are affected. The CEO now has discretion to refund, reduce, or waive fees, potentially reducing costs for some operators. The removal of the mandatory waiver clause gives the CEO more flexibility.
