This notice amends the Planning and Development (Fees) Notice 2018 to clarify the application of fees for freehold or survey-strata subdivisions, including leasehold subdivisions, and to specify that amalgamation fees do not apply to contemporaneous applications for amalgamation and subdivision.
Land developers and applicants for subdivision approvals will be affected by the clarification of fee application, particularly regarding leasehold subdivisions and the exemption of amalgamation fees in combined applications. This may result in cost savings for some applicants.
