These regulations amend the Firearms Regulations 1974, Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Regulations 1996, and the Police (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2018 to update various fees and charges.
Firearm owners, pawnbrokers, second-hand dealers, and those requiring police services will be affected by changes to application, renewal, and service fees. Volunteer organisations and public sector bodies requiring national criminal history record checks will also be affected.
