This proclamation commences the majority of the Residential Parks (Long-stay Tenants) Amendment Act 2020 on 31 January 2022. Certain parts of the Act (Part 1 and specified sections) are excluded from this commencement.
Residential park owners and long-stay tenants will be affected by the changes introduced by the Amendment Act, as it will come into effect on the specified date. This brings into operation the remainder of the Act.
