These regulations, made under the Residential Tenancies (COVID-19 Response) Act 2020, prescribed the end date of the emergency period under that Act as 28 March 2021. The regulations were repealed when the Act was repealed at the end of 28 March 2022.
The regulations affected residential landlords and tenants in Western Australia by defining the period during which special COVID-19 related rules applied to residential tenancies. After the emergency period ended, those special rules ceased to apply.
