Restraining Orders and Related Legislation Amendment (Family Violence) Act 2016

This proclamation commences the Restraining Orders and Related Legislation Amendment (Family Violence) Act 2016. Sections 60, 71, 73, 76, 97, 98 and 100 commenced the day after publication, and the rest of the Act commences on 1 July 2017.

Courts, legal professionals, and individuals involved in restraining order proceedings are affected by the commencement of the amendments to the legislation.
