Principal Act
These regulations amend the Road Traffic Code 2000, increasing penalties for certain offences and updating penalty unit values for specific violations.
Individuals who commit offences under Part 16 Division 2 or regulation 244 of the Road Traffic Code 2000 will face higher minimum and maximum penalties. The regulations also increase penalties for specific offences outlined in regulation 17.
