Principal Act
These regulations amend the Road Traffic Code 2000 to provide exemptions for operators of certain measuring equipment and "red light" cameras from specific road traffic rules when performing their duties.
Police and certified personnel operating approved speed detection equipment and red light cameras are exempt from certain traffic rules (e.g., stopping in no-stopping areas) while performing their duties, provided they act with reasonable care.
