These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Drug Driving) Regulations 2007 to update the approved oral fluid testing device from the Cozart Drug Detection System to the Securetec Drugwipe II Twin Combo, and specify the procedures for collecting and testing oral fluid using the new device.
WA drivers suspected of drug driving and law enforcement officers are affected. Police will use the Securetec Drugwipe II Twin Combo for roadside drug testing, and must follow the new procedures for collecting and testing oral fluid.
