These regulations amend the Rottnest Island Regulations 1988 to update fees and rules related to aircraft and vessels operating on or visiting the island. They introduce annual fees for aircraft in lieu of individual admission and aerodrome usage fees.
Operators of ferries, domestic commercial vessels, and aircraft that carry passengers to Rottnest Island are affected. Aircraft operators now have the option to pay annual fees instead of per-visit fees. The changes also affect how admission fees are handled for passengers arriving by aircraft.
