These regulations amend the Taxation Administration Regulations 2003 to allow the Commissioner of State Revenue to disclose tax information to public sector agencies to assist in developing, delivering, and evaluating COVID-19 relief measures.

Public sector agencies involved in COVID-19 relief efforts will have access to tax information to better target and assess the effectiveness of their programs. Individuals and businesses affected by COVID-19 may benefit from more effective relief measures.
