These regulations amend the Transport (Country Taxi-cars Fares) Regulations 1991 to introduce an airport fee for taxi journeys starting at the Broome International Airport terminal.

Taxi passengers commencing journeys from the Broome International Airport terminal will be required to pay an additional $2.50 airport fee. Taxi operators collecting passengers from the Broome International Airport terminal will be able to charge this fee.
