📜 Vocational Education and Training (Colleges) Amendment Regulations 2019
Regulations22 Oct 2019 p. 3729-3322 October 2019
Principal Act
Amends the Vocational Education and Training (Colleges) Regulations 1996 to introduce a new 'category 5' course, adjust fee caps, and update eligibility criteria for concessional fees. It also clarifies the definition of 'Australian resident' for fee purposes.
VET colleges and students are affected. Colleges need to implement new fee structures and eligibility criteria. Students may see changes in course fees, particularly for 'category 5' courses and depending on their concessional status or age. Unenrolled secondary school aged persons have a fee cap of $420 across all courses.
