Vocational Education and Training Act 1996

These regulations amend the Vocational Education and Training (Colleges) Regulations 1996 to introduce a new category of VET courses (category 6) for which no fees apply, and make related adjustments to fee structures and eligibility.

VET colleges and students are affected. Colleges need to classify courses and potentially amend their instruments. Students may benefit from courses with no fees. The changes clarify fee relief eligibility.
