These regulations amend the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery (Container Deposit Scheme) Regulations 2019 to implement and refine the container deposit scheme.

Beverage suppliers, refund point operators, MRF operators, and local governments are affected by changes to container approval processes, refund handling, scheme agreements, and material recovery.
