These regulations amend the Rights in Water and Irrigation Regulations 2000 and the Water Agencies (Infringements) Regulations 1994. They update the prescribed persons authorized to issue infringement notices and update addresses in forms.
The amendments affect the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation staff who are authorized to issue infringement notices. It also affects anyone receiving an infringement notice by updating the contact address.
