These regulations amend the Water Services Regulations 2013 to include considerations for customers affected by family violence. They prescribe matters relating to these customers for the purposes of section 26(2) of the Water Services Act 2012 and protect confidential information.
Water licensees are affected by the new requirements to protect customer information related to family violence. Customers affected by family violence will benefit from increased confidentiality and consideration.
