Principal Act
These regulations amend the Weapons Regulations 1999 to exempt aviation and maritime security inspectors from certain offences under the Weapons Act 1999 when performing their duties.
Aviation and maritime security inspectors are not committing an offence under sections 6, 7, or 8 of the Weapons Act 1999 when carrying or using weapons as part of their official duties.
