These regulations amend the Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Regulations 1982 to update procedures for lodging documents with the Director, primarily by mandating the use of an Electronic Document System (EDS).
Employers, workers, insurers, and self-insurers involved in workers' compensation claims are affected. Most parties must now lodge documents electronically via the EDS, unless exempt (e.g., self-represented parties or during EDS outages).
